Dream landscape

Inspired by the famous artwork “The agony in the Garden” of Giovanni Bellini, 1460. I saw the painting in London at the “Mantegna and Bellini” exhibition curated by Caroline Campbell in 2017. This stunning exhibition confronted artworks of Giovanni Bellini and of Andrea Mantegna, two Masters who shaped the course of the art of the Italian Renaissance. The painting made such an impression on my subconscious for the energy and peace it exudes.
